Both play an important role in our area. Around the Big Ploen Lake there are cultural and historical sights starting from the smallest Episcopal cathedral in Bosau, via old manors to the famous Ploen Castle.

Furthermore, there are numerous events, concerts with local and international artists, music performances and church concerts. The famous Schleswig Holstein Music Festival performs regularly in our region.
